2026 Valero Texas Open: PGA Tour one-and-done fantasy golf picks

PGA Tour one-and-done is perhaps the best fantasy golf game, with season-long leagues that give players a chance to pick one player for each tournament in the league season.

Once again in 2026, we offer weekly PGA Tour one-and-done golf picks for leagues of all kinds, including survivor leagues where the selected player must make the cut for the entry to continue to the next tournament.

We continue our 2026 PGA Tour one-and-done picks with the 2026 Valero Texas Open, concluding at the 2026 Tour Championship, keeping track of our picks all along the way.

Before we begin, if you're not familiar with game, read this primer on the one-and-done fantasy golf format, and welcome to the game. It really is as easy as it sounds, but you have to take a long-term view of the season to figure out how best to use players.

This week, we have the Valero Texas Open, with the PGA Tour moving to San Antonio for the final charge into the Masters Tournament.

It's Valero Texas Open week, and the 132-player field this week is taking on one of the better ballstriking tests on Tour. The green complexes here are pretty big and tricky, and there's a lot of land movement in this part of Texas.

I tipped Gary Woodland, so that was good! I officially went with Brooks Koepka, though, who was the only guy of the four to play badly.

2026 Valero Texas Open One and Done picks

  • Keith Mitchell: Mitchell had another great week, and he is one of the better horse-for-course plays here this week.
  • Collin Morikawa: Morikawa fits the bill here for sure, though he's also one of those guys that isn't necessarily trying to win.
  • Si Woo Kim: This is a ballstriker's course, and Si Woo is one of the best in the game at that.
  • Jordan Spieth: Spieth is playing really well, and he's been in the top 15 in three of his last four starts. He loves this tournament, too. Get on board.

My pick this week is Jordan Spieth.
