2026 LIV Golf rosters: Team names and players

LIV Golf has announced the 57 players competing on 13 teams for their 2026 season. The first event kicks off on Feb. 4, played at Riyadh Golf Club in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the home nation of the league owners. The 14th and final event is the LIV Golf team championship, which will be played Aug. 27-30 in Michigan at Saint John's Resort.

This season, the same 57 players will compete in each event, unless there is an injury or a player is otherwise unable to compete. Each team has a captain, with three players underneath, with the exception of the Majesticks, which has two co-captains.

Five players will play as unaffiliated wild-card players, solely competing in individual events. All five earned their way onto LIV Golf through the Asian Tour's International Series order of merit (Scott Vincent, Yosuke Asaji) or the LIV Golf Promotions event (Richard T. Lee, Anthony Kim, Bjorn Hellgren).

Among those players who competed in the 14-event series in 2025, several high-finishing players or signees are not competing in 2026, including Brooks Koepka (back to the PGA Tour), Mito Pereira (retired), Kevin Na (not re-signed), Henrik Stenson (relegated), Matt Jones, Fredrik Kjettrup, Jinichiro Kozuma and Yubin Jang.

New players, outside of four of the wild-card players, include Thomas Detry, Byeong Hun An and Victor Perez. Laurie Canter has come back for a second stint with LIV Golf, turning down a PGA Tour card that he earned from his finish on the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai last season.

Two teams changed names, with the all-South African team going from Stinger to Southern Guards, and the Iron Heads re-branding as Korean Golf Club and boasting four Korean players.

In the first 13 tournaments, there are two simultaneous competitions, with an individual 72-hole stroke-play event and a team-based event, which is based on taking the top individual round scores from the four-players teams in each round to determine the champions in aggregate against par at the end of the extended tournaments.
