The PGA Tour this week features the 2025 Hero World Challenge starting on Thursday at Albany Golf Club in The Bahamas.

My PGA Tour field ranking for Hero World Challenge looks at the top 10 players in this 20-player field that brings together the best in the world for a Tiger Woods-run charity event.

The Hero World Challenge is the last tournament of the year for a lot of players on this list, many of which didn't play at all in the FedEx Cup Fall. Scottie Scheffler has won here the last two years, but he's also been off since the Ryder Cup.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 Hero World Challenge rankings.

2025 Hero World Challenge expert picks and rankings

1. Scottie Scheffler: The best player in the world and two-time defending champion has to be in the top spot.

2. Keegan Bradley: The Captain (formerly) just won $2.1 million in the Skins Game, so he's been active and successful recently.

3. Aaron Rai: Rai won in Abu Dhabi on the DP World Tour not too long ago, and Yas Links is somewhat similar to Albany.

4. Alex Noren: Noren went on a tear on the DP World Tour in the fall, and he's got the game to win here.

5. Robert MacIntyre: Bobby Mac should probably be higher on my list, but I'm a bit tepid on him for some reason.

6. Cameron Young: Young has every reason to be in the top three or four of this ranking, and were it not for relative inactivity, he'd be there.

7. JJ Spaun: Spaun gets to wrap the year of his life in The Bahamas, and that might make him an interesting, relaxed player.

8. Sam Burns: Burns tends to play well on the horizontal-growing grasses, and he should see that here this week. His short game will come in handy.

9. Hideki Matsuyama: Hideki can handle the difficult, windy conditions that might come up here and makes him a sneaky pick.

10. Sepp Straka: Sepp just got to spend time at home with their child, who had been in the NICU, so this is all gravy for him. That could be bad for the field.
