The 2025 Maybank Championship final leaderboard is headed by winner Miyu Yamashita, who topped the LPGA Tour leaderboard this week with a win at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Yamashita broke through for her second LPGA Tour title of the season, winning with a birdie 4 on the par-5 18th in the first hole of a sudden-death playoff against Hye Jin Choi and Hannah Green after all three players finished regulation tied on 18-under 270.
There was a five-way tie for fourth place, all a shot out of the playoff, including Akie Iwai, Yan Liu, Jeeno Thitikul, A Lim Kim and Sei Young Kim.
Yamashita won the $450,000 winner's share of the $3,000,000 purse.

Yamashita picks up the win in the 28th LPGA Tour event of the season, getting in the winner's circle for the second time in this 2025 season.
By winning the event, Yamashita earned 500 points in the Race to the CME Globe, with the top 60 players in points getting into the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
This week, there was not a 36-hole cut in this event, with 77 players finishing the tournament after the cut was not made in this 72-hole tournament.
The 2025 LPGA Tour schedule continues next week with the Toto Japan Classic in Japan.
