The 2025 Buick LPGA Shanghai final leaderboard is headed by winner Jeeno Thitikul, who topped the LPGA Tour leaderboard this week with a win at Qizhong Garden Golf Club in Shanghai, China.
Thitikul broke through for her second LPGA title of the season, defeating Minami Katsu in the fifth hole of a sudden-death playoff for the title. Both players finished regulation tied on 24-under 264 after Thitikul played the final five holes of regulation in 5 under to catch the Japanese player.
In the playoff, the first four holes (played between the 18th and 10th holes) were all halved in par 4 before Thitikul took the win with a birdie 3 on 18 in the fifth playoff hole on No. 10.
Minjee Lee finished third on the week, five shots out of the winning playoff.
Miyu Yamashita finished in a tie for fourth place with Jenny Bae and Somi Lee.
Thitikul won the $330,000 winner's share of the $2,200,000 purse.
Buick LPGA Shanghai recap notes
Thitikul picks up the win in the 26th LPGA Tour event of the season, getting in the winner's circle for the second time in this 2025 season. She is the first repeat winner this season.
By winning the event, Thitikul earned 500 points in the Race to the CME Globe, with the top 60 players in points getting into the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
This week, there was not a 36-hole cut in this event, with 81 players finishing the tournament after the cut was not made in this 72-hole tournament.
The 2025 LPGA Tour schedule continues next week with the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea.
