Alfred Dunhill Links Championship history, results and past winners

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is one the DP World Tour's unique events, being a pro-am played at the home of golf in Scotland.

The event is played as a three-course pro-am rotation at The Old Course at St. Andrews, Carnoustie Golf Links and Kingsbarns Golf Links.

Tyrrell Hatto won this event three times, while Padraig Harrington won twice.

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship format

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is played over four days, and there is a cut for the qualifying field.

The field of 168 players is reduced to the top 60 and ties for the final round of the event. The 54-hole cut is made of the top 60 professionals and the leading 20 pro-am teams, regardless of the professional member of the team making the individual cut. These players and teams advance to the final round at St. Andrews. Each professional-amateur team plays one round on each rotation course before the cut is made.

At the end of the 72-hole event, the lowest score wins.
