The 2025 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship final leaderboard is headed by winner John VanDerLaan, who topped the Korn Ferry Tour leaderboard this week at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

VanDerLaan earned the Korn Ferry Tour win and got a step closer to a PGA Tour card thanks to a three-shot win on 17-under 267. VanDerLaan outdueled Zecheng Dou and Trent Phillips for the win in the second Finals event on the schedule.

Chandler Blanchet and Jeffrey Kang, players in good position to get PGA Tour cards for 2026, finished in a share of fourth place.

VanDerLaan won the $270,000 winner's share of the $1,500,000 purse.

Korn Ferry Tour Championship recap notes

VanDerLaan earned 16.1 Official World Golf Ranking points with the win, which does help his world ranking, as he also gains 600 Korn Ferry Tour points. The top 20 players in the points standings at the end of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship earn PGA Tour cards for 2026.

This week the cut was made at even-par 142 or better, with 70 players getting through to the final two rounds.

The top 120 players in points standings after this event are eligible to move on into the third stage of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals.

The 2025 Korn Ferry Tour schedule continues in two weeks with the Compliance Solutions Championship in Oklahoma.
