Omega European Masters history, results and past winners

The Omega European Masters is one of the longest-running tournaments in the world, starting originally as the Swiss Open and developing into a coveted event on the DP World Tour schedule.

The event is considered one of the biggest tournaments in golf because it is one of the oldest national championships, and the setting for the modern event is incredible.

The tournament has not been continuously conducted since 1905. The tournament was not played during World War I and World War II, and the event was canceled in 2020.

Seve Ballesteros, Harold Henning, Dai Rees, Marcel Dallemagne, Auguste Boyer and Alec Ross all share the tournament record with three wins each.

The Omega European Masters has seen an increase in prestige in recent years.
