Justin Thomas has 15 PGA Tour wins in his career. Several years ago, he was on a career trajectory like Phil Mickelson, or his contemporary Rory McIlroy, because of how frequently he won at a young age.
In 2025, Thomas is at a crossroads in his career as a drought without another major championship win continues.
The last time Justin Thomas won a major championship was the 2022 PGA Championship. In the final round at Southern Hills, Thomas caught the lead and found himself in a playoff with Will Zalatoris after Mito Pereira had a disaster of a 72nd hole. Thomas won the multi-hole playoff for a staggering win.
Of course, Thomas's last major championship win is his last PGA Tour win.
Thomas did win a big event for his last non-major PGA Tour win, taking the 2021 Players to continue a run of taking down big tournaments on the schedule.
Throughout his majors skid, Thomas had put himself in position to win other PGA Tour events, but he had struggled mightily on the PGA Tour in 2023 and, to a degree, in 2024. One of the best players on the planet from the approach in, Thomas has struggled off the tee at times.
Thomas's last good chance to win came at the 2025 The American Express, where he came up short against Sepp Straka in California, or in coming up short against Viktor Hovland in March 2025 at the Valspar Championship. Now he's looking to get back on the right track at Harbour Town and win the RBC Heritage for another huge title to put an end to a long winless skid.
