Charlie Woods and Tiger Woods are tied for the lead heading into the final round of the 2024 PNC Championship in Florida, and the duo are playing a great ham-and-egg style of golf that works at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club.
The son of the 15-time major champion continues to refine his skills as he becomes taller, bigger and stronger. Like his legendary father, Charlie Woods is also no longer wearing Nike.
Woods is wearing a baseball cap, but he's got a new logo on that hat.
The logo on Charlie Woods's hat at the 2024 PNC Championship is for his father's TGL team, Jupiter Links.
TGL is an indoor hybrid-golf league that will debut on January 5, 2025, at a purpose-built facility in Florida called SoFi Center. The building is approximately the length of a football field, and it will host a team-based league. There are six teams with four PGA Tour players on each team, including Woods' team, Jupiter Links. Woods is an owner in the league and a co-creator along with Rory McIlroy.
There will be a three-month season in which the teams play 15-hole matches on TV, with a mixture of simulator golf play and unique indoor golf on a real-life green for shots inside of 50 yards.
The Jupiter Links branding heavily features the color red, which has been iconic in Tiger Woods' career. Woods' Sunday red shirts have been a key part in all the crucial imagery of his playing career.
Charlie's father is wearing a new logo, too. That logo is for Sun Day Red, Tiger Woods' apparel brand which he started in 2024 with TaylorMade Golf.
The logo for Sun Day Red is a play on Woods' name, with the look of a 15-stripe tiger -- one for each of the major championships Woods has won.
Charlie Woods has also been wearing Sun Day Red since the line was announced in February 2024 at The Genesis Invitational on the PGA Tour. The line makes shirts, pullovers, hoodies, shoes and other accessories -- many of which are a lookback in some way on what Woods has worn througout his career.
The Woods are hoping to power through to the PNC Championship title wearing their new brands and identities.
