2014 Open Championship: The field, exemptions & qualifiers

The 2014 Open Championship will mark the return of the game's oldest major championship to Royal Liverpool (also known as Hoylake) from July 17-20.

Tiger Woods won the last time Liverpool hosted the Open Championship, winning the Claret Jug in 2006 for his last Open win. It was the first time Royal Liverpool had hosted since 1967.
