2025 RBC Canadian Open: Expert picks, PGA Tour field rankings and fantasy golf tips

The PGA Tour this week features the 2025 RBC Canadian Open starting on Thursday at TPC Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

My PGA Tour field ranking for RBC Canadian Open looks at the top 10 players in this 156-player field that brings together the PGA Tour for the only event in Canada and one of the longest-running national championships.

The RBC Canadian Open is back, and the world No. 2 is playing this week as a two-time champion taking on a new venue the week before the US Open.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 RBC Canadian Open rankings.

2025 RBC Canadian Open expert picks and rankings

1. Rory McIlroy: McIlroy came under fire for skipping the Memorial last week, and it's been an odd May for the guy, but he's still the class player in the field.

2. Corey Conners: We're at a new venue where few people have much experience, so let's lean into the ballstriker from the host country.

3. Shane Lowry: I love Shane Lowry next week at Oakmont, but I think he'll put out a good effort this week in Toronto.

4. Ludvig Aberg: Aberg has such incredible potential, but you're going to struggle to get me to pick him with how erratic he is.

5. Robert MacIntyre: Bobby Mac defends this week on the back of a T6-T20 run in his last two starts.

6. Sam Burns: Burns has been playing great golf for several months now, though he's playing this week largely as a sponsor commitment.

7. Sungjae Im: Sungjae has been playing well enough, though he's certainly not near his absolute best.

8. Nick Taylor: The 2023 Canadian champion had a great run at Muirfield Village, and I'd expect him to be amped up this week.

9. Luke Clanton: The hype around Clanton is huge, but it's well-placed, and this kid is going to destroy as a pro.

10. Johnny Keefer: Keefer gets a crack at the PGA Tour this week after dominating (well, doing really well) on the Korn Ferry Tour this year.
