The PGA Tour this week features the 2025 Texas Children's Hospital Open starting on Thursday at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas.
My PGA Tour field ranking for Texas Children's Hospital Open looks at the top 10 players in this 156-player field that brings together the PGA Tour's best to the Houston area stop.
The Texas Children's Hospital Open is a strong start in the two-week Texas run-up to the Masters. We have about 20 of the world top 50 this week (and there might be more next week), particularly with Scheffler and McIlroy competing.
Memorial Park is an interesting course in that it's a 7,400-yard municipal Tom Doak. Those words don't come together too often. You can't hit it anywhere and be successful, but in tour terms, you kind of can.
Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2025 Texas Children's Hospital Open rankings.
2025 Texas Children's Hospital Open expert picks and rankings
1. Rory McIlroy: McIlroy is the best player on the PGA Tour this year, and he's beaming with confidence after winning The Players.
2. Scottie Scheffler: Scheffler was denied here last year by Stephan Jaeger, but he had a decent repeat defense at The Players.
3. Aaron Rai: Rai has been in the top seven here the last two go-rounds, and he's been having a good follow-up to a great 2024.
4. Wyndham Clark: Clark pulled out of The Players in his last start, so there's some caution here, but his long ball should help.
5. Tony Finau: Finau should probably swap with Clark given the course record here, including a win and runner-up.

6. JJ Spaun: Spaun's response to The Players playoff loss will be interesting, but he has the most top-5 finishes this year on Tour.
7. Michael Kim: Kim didn't have his best week at Innisbrook, but T-28 is still solid for a guy who has played a lot of golf this year.
8. Min Woo Lee: Min Woo had himself a very nice Players, and he's enjoyed TGL, and it all seems to becoming together pretty well.
9. Jason Day: Day seems to have the right pieces in place to win again in Texas.
10. Jake Knapp: Knapp should be a threat here if he can keep his ball in play, and The Players run should give him a confidence boost.
