Shane Lowry is the 148th British Open champion, winning by six shots over Tommy Fleetwood at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. Now, he's looking to follow up on a road Ryder Cup win in 2025 with a win in the Palm Beaches on the PGA Tour at the Cognizant Classic at PGA National.

Shane Lowry is a happily married man. Shane and Wendy Lowry married in 2016 in New York City, and they have two children together, a daughter named Iris and a daughter named Ivy. Wendy and Iris were on hand for Lowry becoming an Irishman to win a major on the island of Ireland.

The pair have traveled the world together, including to Ryder Cups and throughout the PGA Tour.
