If you’re new to head-to-head matchups betting in golf, sportsbooks give bettors a variety of one-on-one or group matchups, pitting players against each other in a single round or for an entire tournament. Of course, before the tournament, we’re looking at either first-round wagers or whole-tournament wagers. If only one of the players makes the cut, then that player is the winner by default, assuming they finish.

This week, we have the Zozo Championship at Sherwood Country Club, erstwhile home to Tiger Woods’ World Challenge. We went 2-1 last week at Shadow Creek, so we’ve been on a good run in the start of the new season.
Jason Kokrak (+105) over Sungjae Im: Love Sungjae, but Kokrak has been on a tear and just beat up a par-72 course with narrow par 5s. He gets one extra per day this week.
Alex Noren (+130) over Adam Hadwin: Taking a little bit of a risky track on this one, but I think Noren is playing decent enough to be worth the look as a dog.
Russell Henley (EVEN) over Scottie Scheffler: Henley has been playing great and he’s consistent from outing to outing. Good to pounce against Scheffler, who is struggling right now.
