2019 Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA final results: Prize money payout and leaderboard

The 2019 Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA final leaderboard is headed by winner Nelly Korda, who successfully defended her first LPGA title with a third-career LPGA win with a playoff victory at Miramar Golf Country Club in New Taipei City in Chinese Taipei (Taiwan).

Korda, Caroline Masson and Minjee Lee finished regulation at 18-under 270 in the 72-hole event, forcing the action to a first playoff hole. In the lone extra frame, Korda made birdie 4 compared to 5s for both Masson and Lee to pick up the victory.

With the win, Korda should continue to improve her standing in the Rolex Women's World Golf Ranking. She was bounced to eighth last week by Danielle Kang, but she is within reach of No. 5 Lexi Thompson.

Korda won the $330,000 winner's share of the $2,200,000 purse.

Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA recap notes

Brooke Henderson notched her 11th top-10 finish of the season with a T-4 effort at 14-under total along with MJ Hur and Sei Young Kim. Henderson is clearly slotted as having the second-best season on the LPGA in total, despite not winning a major championship. Hannah Green's two-win season, including a major championship, could also be considered second-best to Jin Young Ko.

Jin Young Ko, who has already won the LPGA's points-based Player of the Year race, withdrew after the first two rounds of the event.

Ariya Jutanugarn is on the verge of falling out of the Rolex Rankings top 10 for the first time since May 2016, when Jutanugarn's win in the now-defunct LPGA Volvik Championship got her to No. 10 in the world. She finished T-11 this week.

Two events remain in the season, with next week's Toto Japan Classic being the final chance to get into the top 60 in the Race to the CME Globe standings and earn a spot in the CME Group Tour Championship the following week.

A year ago, Jessica Korda was staying up in the middle of the night in the United States to watch her sister get an emotional first win. This time around, Jessica finished T-11 and was among the first to celebrate her younger sister's third win.
