Every week, we talk about fantasy golf here at Golf News Net. We make recommendations for one-and-done leagues, regular fantasy leagues and daily fantasy sports (DFS) contests. Some of you prefer free leagues because they're free, and some of you prefer them because they're typically easier to follow -- and more like actual golf -- than DFS, which rewards points on an unnatural system.
That's why I'm excited to introduce you to a new fantasy golf platform called Secret Golf Tour!
My friends at Secret Golf have created a fun, easy-to-understand set of paid fantasy games that are perfect for weekly competitions. And this week, and throughout the FedEx Cup playoffs, I'm going to be offering games for Golf News Net readers and fans to play.
The game is simple: pick one player from each of four groups to make your team. Pay your $10 entry fee. The team with the lowest combined score against par after 72 holes wins, and the top three finishers get paid.
Wanna play this week? Here's how to get involved:
- Download the SG Tour app from the App Store (not available for Android yet)
- Create an account and make sure you have a PayPal account
- Under Public Games on the home page, pick Golf News Net Cup.
- Pick your golfers and enter the event.
- Boom!
