Stacy Lewis is a mom. The two-time major winner announced she and husband Gerrod Chadwell welcomed their first child, a daughter named Chesnee Lynn Chadwell, into the world on Oct. 25.
The whole family is back at their Houston-area home and doing great.

Lewis and Chadwell married in 2016. Chadwell is the women's golf coach at the University of Houston. The couple had discussed an ideal time to have their first child together, and Lewis had hoped to be able to compete in the 2019 Solheim Cup. Chadwell's duties as coach are lightest around the end-of-year holidays.
Lewis ended her season as planned, at the Marathon Classic in Ohio in July. Marathon is one of Lewis' primary sponsors.
The Chadwells join the Pillers, Gerina and Martin, in LPGA families welcoming children so far in 2018. The two couples are good friends. Suzann Pettersen is expecting a child soon, as well Brooke Pancake.
In the early stages of her pregnancy, Lewis was surprised by her one of her primary sponsors, KPMG, who told her they would pay her full sponsorship contract despite not making the number of contracted tournament starts for the year. Perhaps KPMG's decision could usher in an era of sponsorship contracts with maternity-leave clauses.
Lewis plans on returning to the LPGA Tour and utilizing the Tour's child-care services, though she hasn't yet set a return timetable.
"I plan on playing," Lewis said in April. "I plan on coming back and traveling on the road with the baby and we'll figure it out as we go."
