Snell Golf founder Dean Snell has been selling golf balls for three years now, and, until 2018, he had offered two models: My Tour Ball and the Get Sum. But for the New Year, Snell created a third offering, creating the MTB Red ball to complement the original My Tour Ball, now improved and renamed the MTB Black.
Ryan Ballengee played a handful of rounds with the MTB Red ball -- specifically, two of them over five rounds -- while on a golf trip in Florida. He was impressed by the distance, control and spin of the MTB Red balls, which have four pieces compared to the MTB Black's three.
