Tiger Woods isn't the only pro golfer whose privacy has been violated with a leaked release of nude photos when their phone or cloud storage has been hacked.
Both Paige Spiranac and Carly Booth had purported nude photos published on Celeb Jihad, the same website which briefly posted nude photos of Woods and former girlfriend Lindsey Vonn which were hacked from a phone and disseminated online.
The photos of Woods and Vonn were posted on Aug. 21 and, with the likely threat of legal action against the site, were removed on or around Aug. 23. The site still has a post dedicated to the leak but has removed the images and replaced them with a fake nude image of Vonn.
Similar posts were made concerned leaked nude photos of Booth, who voluntarily posed naked for ESPN the Magazine's Body issue, and Spiranac. Both posts contained hacked and leaked nude or partially nude photos.
The post with Booth's photos was removed Aug. 23 or 24, likely after a threat of legal action.
The post with Spiranac's photos remains on Celeb Jihad, but it does not contain any nude or partially nude photos. This is, at least in part, related to a Digital Millennium Copyright Act copyright claim filed in May by Spiranac through representation, saying, "Mr./Ms..Paige Spiranac declare that she owns all the Property Rights over the pictures listed in the ANNEX I, and all derivative works created therefrom."
Another Digital Millennium Copyright Act copyright claim was filed in August and directed through Google to seek the removal of the Spiranac nude photos from a variety of websites and to not crawl or show results for these images. The claim was filed by an agency on behalf of Sergi Enrich. A man with that name (though he may not have filed the DMCA request) plays professional soccer in Spain for SD Eibar. He claims copyright of the Spiranac photos, saying (roughly translated), "The photographs in which Paige Spiranac appears in underwear belong to me represented who made it with his mobile phone, and in no case authorized its public dissemination."
