Donald Trump visited the golf course for the 49th time as President

Donald Trump continued his 17-day August "working vacation" at his Trump National Golf Club in in Bedminster, N.J., while playing golf on Aug. 9, marking the 49th time the 45th President has visited one of his 17 golf clubs (and, for most of them, presumably played some golf) since becoming President on Jan. 20, 2017.

Trump has been at his Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey since Aug. 4 as the White House undergoes planned renovations set into motion during the Obama Administration.

On this occasion, Trump played golf with Mike Fazio, CEO of Prime Staffing in New York, who shared an Instagram picture of the round with Trump.

“Fantastic day golfing with #45 @realdonaldtrump at Trump Bedminister today,” Fazio wrote in the post. “We had an exciting match which came down to the 18th hole.”

This is all happening as North Korea and the Trump administration trade barbs and threats as the rogue state threatens to use its improved nuclear and ICBM capabilities to attack American territories, including Guam.

So far, Trump has been on the golf course or his clubs during some portion of the day for 22 percent of his presidency.

The Trump Administration, per policy, does not acknowledge that Trump is playing even a hole of golf, much less an 18-hole round. However, if he's going to the golf club for about 4-5 hours, you can be pretty sure he's playing golf.

The President is certainly entitled to some leisure time, and golf has been an outlet for most Commanders-in-Chief dating back to the early 20th century. However, the reluctance to even acknowledge that this President plays golf conflicts with his almost relentless criticism of his predecessor, Barack Obama, who played an estimated 333 rounds of golf as President.
