To be the man, you have to beat the man. Everyone knows that because of Ric Flair's wisdom, genius and greatness. And who better than a 16-time world heavyweight wrestling champion from Charlotte to welcome television viewers to the first major championship of the 21st century in the Queen City?
Ric Flair worked with TNT to create a promo video for the 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club.
In the two-and-a-half-minute teaser, Flair talks about his greatness and weaves it into what it takes to be a major champion. Flair holds the golf club a bunch of different times while talking about Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth's quest for the career Grand Slam, Dustin Johnson and more of the contenders taking part in the final major of 2017.
While wearing what appears to be a sportjacket from the Roy Williams Collection and a couple of gold chains, the Aviator-wearing Flair gets you hyped for some major championship golf.
