Looking for 2017 RBC Canadian Open picks, either for betting or fantasy golf games like DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, Golf Channel or the PGA Tour?

We have your 2017 RBC Canadian Open rankings and expert picks, as we do each week of the PGA Tour season.

The RBC Canadian Open is here, and this is a tough week for any golf tournament to get an ideal field. It's after the only overseas major, with tired guys playing some sleepy golf. Glen Abbey Golf Club is great, and the field is pretty OK all things considered. However, editorializing here, we do wish the Canadian Open, one of golf's oldest championships, got some better love.

For those new to our weekly picks, we offer our top 10 players for free. GNN Plus members get additional analysis and research otherwise hidden to the general public, and that's in addition to access to a searchable database of PGA Tour results from 2011-present, top-15 PGA Tour trends and season-long DraftKings salary trends.

2017 RBC Canadian Open rankings: Top 10 picks

1. Dustin Johnson - DJ has been a runner-up here a couple of times, and he showed some signs at Birkdale that he's getting back into form.

2. Matt Kuchar - In terms of pure performance of late, Kuch has to be the best in the field, right? The only thing we're worried about here is that the drain and disappointment of coming up short at Birkdale could creep in here.

3. Chad Campbell - I know. Cambpell third? But it makes sense. The Texan has been playing great golf for about two months now, racking up top-15 finishes. His ballstriking should be an asset here.

4. Charley Hoffman - The Hoff continues to put up good finishes in majors this year, even if he can't seem to finish them off on weekends. A pair of top-16 finishes in his last two Canadian Open starts at Glen Abbey.

5. Ian Poulter - I'm high on Poulter of late. He hasn't missed a cut in nine starts, and he's racked up good finishes in Scotland and The Open. New here, but that's OK.

6. Scott Stallings - Stallings is back on a roll, finishing in the top five in each of his last two starts. When Stallings is streaking, you hop on board. It's short, but brilliant.

7. Tony Finau - I'm always hot and cold with Finau, but he's made eight cuts in a row with a slew of top-25 finishes. He can blast away here plenty, and that should be good for his length and birdie percentage.

8. Danny Lee - This is another leap of sorts. Lee is coming back from a shoulder injury this week, so he could be rusty. However, before the injury, he was top-10-ing like a madman.

9. Jim Furyk - Consider this a leap of faith. Furyk's at least back to making cuts and some top-30 finishes. He has an impressive Canadian Open record, though neither of his two wins came here.

10. Adam Hadwin - We need a Canadian on the list, if for no other reason than it's going to eventually happen again that a Canadian wins their national open (George Knudson! Drink!). Hadwin has been awful for a couple of months, but he was T-7 here last year.

My DraftKings lineup for this week:

  1. Charley Hoffman - $10,300
  2. Ian Poulter - $8,700
  3. Ben Martin - $8,200
  4. Danny Lee - $8,000
  5. Chad Campbell - $7,500
  6. Daniel Summerhays - $7,000
