The PXG (Parsons Xtreme Golf) 0811XF driver landed on the USGA's list of conforming drivers on Jan. 31.

As you might recall, this driver is the next update to the Darkness driver that landed on the USGA's conforming list. The Darkness prototype had 10 weighting screws. This one has six, down from 10 in the Darkness prototype. You would imagine the weights could be changed around to promote a draw bias and is designed to keep the center of gravity low and back with a high moment of inertia rating. The XF moniker, as on the irons PXG sells, could mean "extra forgiving."

The price of this driver, assuming it gets to market this way, is unclear, though you'd imagine it's approximately the same as the 0811 driver already on the market. So, in the $700-$800 range.

The company hasn't announced a release date yet.
