Zac Blair is a great character on the PGA Tour. He's in tune with course design and architecture, he interacts on social media, he hops on podcasts. He's a breath of fresh air, including in how he marked his golf ball at the 2017 CareerBuilder Challenge.

With less than a month until pitchers and catchers report, Blair, clearly excited for the Major League Baseball season, marked his Titleist Pro V1 with red to look like the stitching on a baseball.

The marking apparently paid off, as Blair shot 5-under 67 in the first round at the TPC Stadium Course at PGA West, easily the hardest of the three courses the players in the field will see for the first three rounds of the pro-am event.
