Jason Day's 2017 schedule startsĀ as the No. 1 player in the world looks to build on a season that saw him win three times on the PGA Tour, including The Players.
Day will start his season at the Tournament of Champions in January, a spot into which he earned with those three PGA Tour victories last season. He'll then play in the Farmers Insurance Open in the San Diego area at Torrey Pines and its renovated North Course. Then, he'll play in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in mid-February.
In March, Day will defend his title at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the first since the passing of the golf legend. He'll defend The Players title in May. He's also expected to play in the WGC-Mexico Championship, which replaces the Trump Doral-hosted Cadillac Championship.
He'll be in the Masters, as well the other three majors, and will play the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in the new two-man team format. He'll compete in the Memorial Tournament.
Day should also play in the RBC Canadian Open, an event where he's won and had work with RBC in the past.
In September, expect to see Jason Day in all four FedEx Cup playoff events and the Presidents Cup at Liberty National in New Jersey.
