It took just one day of 2016 golf on the European Tour for a player to take off their shirt during a round.
The winner is David Howell, who went shirtless during the first round of the BMW South African Open so that he could hit out of a greenside hazard on the 10th hole at Glendower Golf Club.

Howell managed to make bogey from the hazard, so he probably saved himself a shot by taking his shirt off and hitting from the junk. From there, he made four birdies in a five-hole stretch to go from 3 over on the day to carding a 1-under 71.
