Sonders was originally hired to be the third wheel on the first iteration of "Morning Drive", essentially the news desk person along with co-hosts Gary Williams and Erik Kuselias. As her star grew and Kuselias was kicked aside from the show, Sonders took on a front-and-center role. She also hosted "Playing Lessons."
