VIDEO: Steven Bowditch breaks nose of Aussie Masters’ fan with bad drive

Steven Bowditch couldn't find the range with the driver on Thursday in the first round of the Uniqlo Australian Masters in Melbourne, so much so that he injured a fan.

Bowditch's driver on the 11th hole at Huntingdale Golf Club went so far left that it struck an unsuspecting fan in the face, breaking his nose and sending him to the ground immediately. Emergency personnel on site tended to the man, who needed to have his nose re-broken so it could be set, per the Daily Mail.

However, as Golf Channel points out, perhaps equally surprising is that the announcers seem to think the fan is fine.
