For the first time as part of a 12-year agreement, Fox and Fox Sports 1 will air the U.S. Open. The two networks will air some 38 hours of live coverage from Chambers Bay in University Place, Wash.
Fox Sports 1 will air coverage on Thursday and Friday before it shifts to Fox for three hours in primetime the first two nights. On the weekend, Fox will air nine hours of coverage each day, including until a winner is decided on Sunday. The Fox Sports Go app will stream three channels, including a featured group, hole Nos. 12 and 15, as well U.S. Open 360. USGA.org will have similar streaming options.
In addition, SiriusXM's PGA Tour Radio will air wall-to-wall live coverage of the championship. With ESPN Radio no longer broadcasting the event, the USGA and SXM got together for this new arrangement.
