VIDEO: The Barclays volunteer faceplants as he chases wayward shot

A volunteer marshal at The Barclays did a total faceplant on Saturday at Ridgewood C.C.

Let's set the scene. Kevin Chappell is hitting his approach shot into one of the holes in the third round and fans it to the right, into the gallery. The marshal tries to sprint toward where the ball landed in the crowd to clear out people so Chappell can hit his next shot unobstructed. Instead, it looks like he trips over a television wire and faceplants right into the ground.

No good deed goes unpunished, I guess.
