VIDEO: Elk makes a golf flagstick pay with hilarious attack

There was just something about this flagstick that an elk didn't like. Naturally, the elk did what it had to do when it felt intimidated: It attacked.

In a video posted on YouTube, an elk is seen walking across a green on a golf course before coming up to a flagstick whipping in the wind. The elk, clearly unhappy with the flag, starts nipping at it, eventually pulling it down sideways. As people in golf carts approach the green, the elk makes a break away from the crime scene.

Later on, however, the elk returns to get some more of the flag -- all the while, a fellow elk is watching with a look of disdain.
