Golf Channel’s Holly Sonders chips first pitch for Tampa Bay Rays

Everyone's got FedEx Cup fever, even the Tampa Bay Rays, who are playing baseball in the last month like they would rather be on the golf course than at the Trop. (Can't argue with that.)

So, why not embrace it?

The Rays did, inviting Golf Channel's Holly Sonders to throw out the first pitch before Monday's game against the Texas Rangers. Sonders took a club and chipped in the ceremonial pitch for a strike.

Thankfully, Holly did an excellent job and won't be lumped together with Carly Rae Jepsen in the Worst First Pitch of All-time Hall of Fame.
