PGA Tour Canada event in Calgary rescheduled for August

After torrential rains and flooding postponed PGA Tour Canada's stop in Calgary in June, it was unclear how the tournament would be made up on the schedule.

Earlier this week, the tour announced that event, the ATB Financial Classic has been rescheduled for Aug. 6-9 at original host site Country Hills Golf Club. The tournament will run Tuesday-Friday.

The Talons course at the club will host a 156-player field competing for a $150,000 purse.

At the end of the nine-event series, the top five players on the Order of Merit will earn Web.com Tour status in 2014.
