Sergio Garcia ditched his regular caddie after the PGA Championship. Coming into the Wyndham Championship, Garcia's bag didn't have a looper, so he hired local pro-am caddie David Faircloth for the week.

Now that Garcia is once again a winner on the PGA Tour, expect the Spaniard to have another looper on the bag this week at The Barclays at Bethpage Black.

According to sources, Garcia will work with Wayne Richardson, who regularly works as a spotter for CBS' golf coverage. Richardson has no significant past caddying experience. CBS will televise the FedEx Cup playoff opener on Long Island.

Gary Matthews had been working with Garcia since The Players Championship, replacing long-time caddie Glen Murray.

After his win, Garcia said he made the move to Faircloth to be able to work on himself this week without the distraction of another relationship.

"I just wanted to have someone to just carry the bag, pretty much," he said. "I wanted to do my own thing to work on my own confidence."
