In celebration of the centennial of Sam Snead’s birth, the former golf pro at The Greenbrier Resort will be toasted with a beer bearing his name.

Slammin' Sam Beer Company is releasing Slammin’ Sam, an American lager inspired by the 82-time PGA Tour winner. It will be served this week at The Greenbrier Classic, with distribution throughout North America to follow.

Made is Wisconsin by Stevens Point Brewery, the beer will be packaged and marketing using images of Snead from the 1950s and 60s.

Arnold Palmer has transformed his refreshing half-and-half into a small beverage empire with Arizona Beverage company, selling a variety of different drinks mixing lemonade and iced tea.

Jack Nicklaus also teamed with the drink maker to recently release a line of lemonades in April.
