We interrupt golf season for the first of this season’s NFL picks!

We have the best animal prognostication team in Christendom! Ernesto the Prediction Iguana at the helm, and a research team of Prediction Cats named Faith, Torrey, and Charlie backing up his moves. What have we learned in four weeks? The Steelers have no defense; the Bears and Chiefs started hot, but can they maintain it, and there is optimism in Cleveland...for once.

ERNESTO THE PREDICTION IGUANA RETURNS FOR A 13TH YEAR OF THE BEST NFL PICKS IN THE BUSINESS

So here’s this week’s winners before they happen. As Ernesto says, “Crush your man!”

GREEN LIGHT!

CHEATRIOTS (-4.5) vs. Colts
Ravens (+3.5) at BROWNS

“Dance with them that brung ya” – as in we’re taking two teams that perform solidly year-in and year-out. The Pats sputtered early but are rounding into form. The Ravens and Browns may be moving in opposite directions but not in the immediate future. Plus Cleveland became Cleveland late in a game again yesterday. Beat the Ravens, then we’ll pick you to beat the Ravens. Until then, try try again.

OVER/UNDER SPECIAL!

CHIEFS-Jaguars OVER 45.5
JETS-Broncos UNDER 49.5

Chiefs and Jags? Two dominant offenses.
Jets and Broncos? Do they even have offenses?

WE LOVE CATS!

BENGALS (+0.5) vs. Dolphins
PANTHERS EVEN vs. Giants

What a thriller the Bengals pulled out on Sunday. Meanwhile the Panthers showed signs of defensive dominance and offensive firepower. Tough road game for the G-men.
