The 2026 LPGA Tour schedule has been announced, with record prize money for the 33-event docket that means better playing opportunities across the board.

The LPGA is expecting to play for a minimum total purse of more than $132 million, marking a modest increase over the dramatic jump from 2024 to 2026.

Always live coverage

The biggest enhancement to the 2026 LPGA Tour schedule comes in the form over broadcast coverage on Golf Channel, with FM investing in dramatic coverage improvements to make sure each LPGA round will air live on Golf Channel (or CNBC). There will also be a 50 percent increase in cameras used, a 300 percent increase in the number of microphones, quadruple the number of Trackman-enabled cameras and much more.

New events

The new event on the schedule is the Aramco Championship, with the Saudi-owned company sponsoring a new $4 million event which replaces the T-Mobile Match Play that has been played in Las Vegas at Shadow Creek. Shadow Creek remains host of a new stroke-play event, co-sanctioned with the Ladies European Tour.

The following tournaments will feature increased purses:

  • Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions: +$100,000
  • Honda LPGA Thailand: +$100,000
  • HSBC Women's World Championship: +$600,000
  • Fortinet Founders Cup: +$1,000,000
  • Ford Championship: +$250,000
  • Chevron Championship: $100,000
  • Mizuho Americas Open: +$250,000
  • ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefem: +$250,000
  • Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give: $250,000
  • KPMG Women's PGA Championship: +$1,600,000
  • AIG Women’s Open: +$750,000
  • CPKC Women’s Open: +$150,000
  • Buick LPGA Shanghai: +$1,000,000

Events leaving the schedule include the Fir Hills Se Ri Pak Championship and Black Desert Championship. The Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown is played every other year, cycled out with the Solheim Cup.

Major championships

The 2026 LPGA major championship will kick off in April at The Chevron Championship, which is reportedly set to move to Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston. In May, Riviera Country Club will then host the 81st U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally. At the end of June, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will be held at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn. The Amundi Evian Championship will be played once again at Evian Resort Golf Club in Evian-les-Bains, France, at the outset of July. The final major championship will be the AIG Women’s Open, to be held at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in Lytham St Annes in England, spanning the end of July and into August. The Solheim Cup will be played in September in the Netherlands.
