The 2027 TGL field is set with the season kicking off at SoFi Center in Florida on December 28, 2025, with the first of 15 regular-season matches pitting seven five-player teams against each other.
The TGL field is headlined by Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Aberg, Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa and more.
This is a 35-player, seven-team, limited-field season. Teams have expanded from four players to five players this season, adding in an element of predictability with lineups, as last season featured several long-term subs that weren't part of the original rosters.
There's also a new team this season, with Motor City Golf Club representing Detroit and bringing on a handful of new players to the league, including Brooks Koepka.
Teams will play six matches in the 15-hole format in the regular season, completing a round robin before the top four teams in the regular season based on match points compete in a four-team playoff.
The event is unofficial on the PGA Tour schedule, though it is a sanctioned event.
The field will be playing for a $21 million purse, determined by the final season-long standings and the playoffs.
A total of four players left the league, including Adam Scott (BOS), Xander Schauffele (NY), Kevin Kisner (JUP) and Lucas Glover (ATL).
New players include Michael Brennan (ATL), Chris Gotterup (ATL, alternate last year), Blades Brown (BAY), Ryan Fox (BAY), Michael Thorbjornsen (BOS, alternate last year), Akshay Bhatia (JUP, alternate last year), Keith Mitchell (JUP), Ben James (LA), Bud Cauley (MOT), Si Woo Kim (MOT), Jake Knapp (MOT), Brooks Koepka (MOT), Jackson Koivun (MOT), Alex Fitzpatrick (NY) and Ben Griffin (NY).
A total of 24 players in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking are in the field.
