The PGA Tour this week features the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open starting on Thursday at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland.

My PGA Tour field ranking for Genesis Scottish Open looks at the top 10 players in this 156-player field that brings together the best in the world for the last event before The Open.

The Genesis Scottish Open marks the return of the PGA Tour to Scotland for a co-sanctioned event with the DP World Tour.

The Renaissance Club routing has been changed for this year, creating what the tournament feels will be a more intriguing last four holes. Still, there's almost always drama in this tournament until the very end.

Just a reminder that I make my expert picks looking at all fantasy leagues and formats. Whether you're playing in a fantasy golf leagues, betting on golf, or competing in a DFS (DraftKings, FanDuel) event, our picks highlight the top PGA Tour golfers to watch this week from our 2026 Genesis Scottish Open rankings.

2026 Genesis Scottish Open expert picks and rankings

1. Scottie Scheffler: Scheffler just cannot seem to be on the right side of variance this year, and that largely seems to come down to weaker putting and short game than last year.

2. Rory McIlroy: McIlroy has hit some magical shots here and done very well for himself, and he seems to embrace tough conditions more than he ever did.

3. Tommy Fleetwood: Fleetwood has been playing great, but don't you think winning the Open in your hometown the next week is a better cosmic play?

4. Xander Schauffele: In terms of horses for courses, there aren't many at Renaissance Club, but a winning Xander is one of them.

5. Wyndham Clark: Clark has been brilliant the last two months-ish, and he has a good record here that might surprise some.

6. Jon Rahm: Rating Rahm seems risky business this year, but he has been enjoying some time off post-US Open thud.

7. Matt Fitzpatrick: Fitz is off the highs of earlier in the year, but he does have a good record in this event that buoys him.

8. Chris Gotterup: The defending champion shot a Sunday 62 in the Quad Cities to earn a third win this year. Why can't he defend here, too?

9. Justin Rose: Rose is going to be a sentimental favorite next week at Birkdale, but he's playing well now and could do well this week.

10. Ludvig Aberg: Ludvig's errant driving proves not to be a big problem here, with a solid record in the event the last several years.
