TPC Deere Run scorecard breakdown

TPC Deere Run has three par 5s, four par 3s and 11 par 4s, and the golf course finishes with an incredible par-4 finish with a challenging tee shot and water to the left that guards the green.

The par 3s have a variety of looks and lengths, though they tend to play in the mid-to-long-iron range.

The par 4s are the biggest test of the course, ranging in length, style and challenge. It is a position golf course above all. There are plenty of trees to catch errant drives.

TPC Deere Run course breakdown

Now that we know the layout of the golf course, what else makes TPC Deere Run a challenge?

The golf course does give up good scores, but a player has to hit a good shot to get the payoff. Accuracy does matter off the tee, and distance doesn't necessarily mean as much if the ball is not put into play.

The greens are not particularly challenging, but they are of decent size, particularly to deal with public play.
