LPGA announces first 10-player Collegiate Advancement Pathway graduates

The Epson Tour has announced the inaugural class of LPGA Collegiate Advancement Pathway (LCAP) graduates.

The program was announced in 2025, giving college seniors, or those in their last year of collegiate eligibility, a pathway to the LPGA's developmental tour, which offers LPGA Tour status to the top 15 players in the season-long points race.

The top 10 ranked athletes following the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship earn Epson Tour status for the remainder of the current season and next, allowing the inaugural class playing opportunities for the remainder of 2026 and all of 2027. The 2026 graduates are eligible to make their professional debut at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship at The Medalist Golf Club in Battle Creek, Mich., from June 12-14.

Megha Ganne is the top player in this inaugural graduating class, with the Stanford product having won the 2025 US Women's Amateur. She's looking forward to taking on the journey of professional golf.

“I think just embracing the challenges that I know that are going to come," she said. "I think there's a little bit of uncertainty when you're starting a new chapter of professional golf and playing on a new tour. So I guess just being comfortable being uncomfortable and just go play my golf game."

As the No. 1 player in this two-year ranking, Ganne also earns an exemption to Final Qualifying Stage of the 2026 LPGA Q-Series.

The 10 players in the graduting class earned points based on their achievements in collegiate and high-level amateur golf. Player Nos. 1-5 get Epson Tour membership in Category D, which is higher than the Category L membership given to players ranked sixth through 10th.
