Matt Fitzpatrick won for the first time in 2026 at the Valspar Championship, a week after a close call at TPC Sawgrass and The Players Championship. He looks to continue in 2026 with a second win at the RBC Heritage.

Fitzpatrick's wife, Katherine Gaal Fitzpatrick, is a huge supporter of the Englishman, and now the couple is preparing to welcome their first child into the world later this year. That announcement was made just after the Tampa win.

Gaal is from New Jersey, graduating from Penn State University with dual degrees in marketing and broadcast journalism. In 2014, Gaal was the first runner-up in the Miss New Jersey USA pageant.

The couple dated for two years before getting married in 2024. She marks her husband's golf balls with cute marks before every round she can.
