The 2026 RBC Heritage purse is set for $20 million, with the winner's share coming in at $3,600,000 -- the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The 2026 RBC Heritage field is headed by Scottie Scheffler, Cam Young, Xander Schauffele and more of the world's best players.

The 82-player field competes in the PGA Tour's event after the Masters, played on Hilton Head Island.

A cut is not made after 36 holes to the top 65 players and ties at the halfway point. All players who finish four rounds of the tournament will earn money.

The prize-money payout is typically based on exactly 65 players making the cut and finishing the tournament. When more than 65 pros make the cut, the purse is increased to make sure every player is paid. In this particular event, the purse is set ahead of time, with 82 players in the field.

Beyond money, there are important points, perks and benefits on the line for the field -- in particular, the tournament winner.

The winner of RBC Heritage event earns 700 FedEx Cup points, as will be the case for Signature events. The winner gets 55.7 Official World Golf Ranking points, with the points available based on field strength.
