While everyone competing in the Masters Tournament is chasing the green jacket, the Masters trophy, a gold medal and immortality at Augusta National Golf Club, the players have an opportunity to win other trophies and prizes based on their play during the week.
Augusta National offers unique trophies to players based on their accomplishments inside the ropes, either in a single hole, a single day or for the entire week.
Players who have the low score of the day earn a crystal vase with a Masters logo on it -- even if that player somehow doesn't make the cut through two rounds.
Players who score eagles get a pair of crystal goblets, while Masters holes-in-one earn a large crystal bowl. Contestants who manage to make an albatross -- there have only been four in Masters history -- get the same prize as an eagle, albeit with a different inscription.
There are also prizes for low finishers who don't win the Masters, with the runner-up (or co-runners-up) getting a silver plate and their name on the permanent Masters trophy in the Augusta National clubhouse.
The low amateur for the tournament -- provided that they make the cut -- receives a silver cup trophy. That's been a tradition since 1952.
