The 2026 Texas Children's Houston Open purse is set for $9.9 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1,782,000 -- the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The 2026 Texas Children's Houston Open field is headed by Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry, Jake Knapp, Chris Gotterup, Brooks Koepka and more of the world's best players.

The 135-player field competes in the PGA Tour's Houston event, setting up a two-week run in Texas before the Masters.

A cut is made after 36 holes to the top 65 players and ties at the halfway point. All players who finish four rounds of the tournament will earn money.

The prize-money payout is typically based on exactly 65 players making the cut and finishing the tournament. When more than 65 pros make the cut, the purse is increased to make sure every player is paid.

The event is played this year at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas.
