The 2026 Cologuard Classic final leaderboard is headed by winner Steven Alker, who topped the PGA Tour Champions leaderboard this week with a win at La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, Arizona.

Alker won this PGA Tour Champions event in a playoff to successfully defend his title from a year ago, beating Padraig Harrington with a birdie 3 on the par-4 18th in the first and only hole of sudden death.

Both players finished 54 holes of regulation tied on 15-under 198 after Harrington missed an 8-foot par putt that would have given him the win.

Zach Johnson and Tommy Gainey finished in a share of third place, two shots of the the playoff.

Alker won the $330,000 winner's share of the $2,200,000 purse.

Cologuard Classic recap notes

Alker wins the latest PGA Tour Champions title of the year, getting into the winner's circle on the 50-plus tour once again.

The money Alker -- and every PGA Tour Champions player in the field -- earned is converted into Charles Schwab Cup points, with every dollar converted into one point during the regular season.

There is no cut on PGA Tour Champions-run events, including the major championships they run. All players are paid for participating in all three rounds of the event, however.

The 2026 PGA Tour Champions schedule resumes next week with the Hoag Classic in California.
