LPGA major winner and semi-retired star Lexi Thompson got married recently to long-time boyfriend Max Provost, with a number of Thompson's golf peers on hand to celebrate the nuptials.
Thompson and Provost got married on March 7, 2026, with friends among the many posting about the ceremony on social media. The wedding took place at La Casa Toscana in southwest Florida, where Thompson has been located for a long time. Many of Thompson's friends from around the golf world, inclding players and media, made the trip for the nuptials.
Thompson is now 31 years old. Thompson retired from the LPGA Tour as a full-time player in 2024, though she does play part-time on the LPGA Tour nowadays. She almost won the team-based Dow Championship in 2025.
Provost proposed to Thompson in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, with Thompson announcing the engagement on January 1, 2025.
The couple have largely stayed out of the spotlight, though Provost has shown up to some LPGA events together. Provost caddied for Thompson at the Hero World Challenge pro-am in 2024.
Thompson has said she looks forward to starting a family someday.
