The 2025 PGA Tour Q-School purse is set for $510,000, with the winner's share coming in at $50,000 -- not the standard 18 percent payout according to the PGA Tour's prize money distribution chart.

The PGA Tour Q-School field is headed by Doug Ghim, Justin Lower, Taylor Moore and more of the world's best players.

The top five players after the 72-hole event earn 2025 PGA Tour cards.

A cut is not made after 36 holes, with every player in the field allowed to play all 72 holes. All players who finish in the top 45 players and ties -- those either earning PGA Tour cards or guaranteed Korn Ferry Tour starts -- earn at least $6,000.

The event is played this year at TPC Sawgrass' Dye's Valley Course and Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

This is the final sanctioned event of the year on the PGA Tour schedule.

What else is on the line: FedEx Cup points, OWGR points, exemptions

Beyond money, there are important points, perks and benefits on the line for the field -- in particular, the tournament winner.

The winner of this event does not get FedEx Cup points, though the real perk of Q-School is a PGA Tour card or guaranteed starts on the Korn Ferry Tour.

There are no Official World Golf Ranking points for this event.

Winning does not come with the benefits of winning a full-field PGA Tour event, meaning cards, starts and money are essentially what's on the line.
