The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is the LPGA Tour's Arkansas event on the schedule, with the event having been played since 2007.

The event, which has been around since 2007, has enjoyed tremendous community support.

The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship has seen an increase in prestige in recent years, with the purse increased to $3 million, though the tournament remains a rare three-round event on the schedule. Over the years, the event has moved toward the early fall from late summer.

Stacy Lewis, Yani Tseng and Nasa Hataoka have won this event multiple times.

The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is played over three days, and there is a cut for the qualifying field.

The field, which is 144 players, is reduced to the top 65 players and ties for the final round of the event. At the end of the 54-hole event, the lowest score wins. In the event of a 54-hole tie, a sudden-death playoff is conducted to determine a winner.

Pinnacle Country Club has been the host to the tournament since the beginning, with the Rogers, Arkansas, club supporting the event at the outset.
